Dr. Sackmaster

Dr. Sackmaster is an Emergency Veterinarian who recently completed his veterinary education. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in the spring of 2023, earning a degree in Veterinary Science. Currently, he is serving as an Emergency Veterinarian Intern in our Eau Claire location.

Dr. Sackmaster's journey into veterinary medicine took a unique path. He initially pursued a career in human medicine but discovered his true passion for veterinary care through volunteering with his local humane society. This experience ignited his dedication to animals and led him to transition to the field of veterinary medicine.

In his veterinary career, Dr. Sackmaster has developed a strong affinity for surgery. He finds fulfillment in performing surgical procedures and witnessing the positive impact they have on the health and well-being of animals. Additionally, he greatly values the opportunity to work closely with clients, providing them with comprehensive information and guidance regarding their pets' conditions. 

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Sackmaster enjoys a range of hobbies. He finds enjoyment in backpacking and mountain biking and embracing the outdoors. Additionally, he nurtures his creative side through the art of baking and creates delicious treats!

With his recent graduation and commitment to surgical expertise, client education, and a well-rounded personal life, Dr. Sackmaster is well-equipped to contribute to the veterinary field and make a positive impact on the lives of animals and their human companions.
