Dr. Schuster completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. Prior to that, she pursued a degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science at the University of Cincinnati. This diverse educational journey has provided her with a well-rounded understanding of both the medical sciences and the importance of nutrition and exercise in promoting overall health and well-being.

Dr. Schuster's path to becoming a veterinarian came later in life when she discovered that it encompassed her passions for medical sciences, acts of service, and her love for animals. Beyond her fondness for Golden Retrievers, she finds great joy in meeting animals from all walks of life and supporting pet parents along their journey. She takes pride in advocating for the health and well-being of animals and finds compassion satisfaction in helping them lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Dr. Schuster also places a strong emphasis on education, empowering pet parents with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions for their furry companions.

Outside of her veterinary practice, Dr. Schuster enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family. Whether it's watching movies, staying active, traveling, cooking, or indulging in her creative side through drawing and creating art, she finds fulfillment in a variety of activities. With Dr. Valerie Schuster, you can expect compassionate care and support for your beloved pets during emergency situations in Eau Claire and surrounding areas.
