Dr. Mary Ngo earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. As a relief veterinarian, she supports Allied’s Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park, and Eden Prairie hospitals. Her professional interests include avian and exotic animal medicine and mentorship.
Dr. Ngo’s interest in veterinary medicine began with her love of animals and the time she spent on her grandfather’s farm. Being around many different species gave her an early appreciation for the varied care animals require throughout their lives, from birth and development to the distinct needs of working animals, production animals, and companions. She was drawn to Allied by the opportunity to provide emergency care and treatment for companion animals and strives to bring both compassion and a spirit of camaraderie to every interaction with clients, patients, and colleagues.
Outside of work, Dr. Ngo enjoys quilting, scrapbooking, crafting, and experiencing new countries and cultures. She also stays busy chauffeuring her children and volunteers with Can Do Canines and 4-H.
