Our Founder, Dr. Kara Nelsen, chose the opposite route – to not only build a network of hospitals to provide exceptional care to pets, but to also offer exceptional career opportunities to our team members. “My fur baby needed Surgery to repair a large laceration on her abdomen. I accidentally cut her removing a large fur mat! I felt safe handing off my cat to the staff. The staff were very nice and explained everything that was happening. They were all so nice! The staff on Saturday evening September 20th, 2025. I can’t remember all the names. The techs, front desk, and the vet. Explained everything upfront, cost, treatment, and time it would take. It was costly. But it was an emergency after hours, and she had to have surgery, sent home with antibiotics, pain meds, and a cone.”

“Our bishon mix was a patient on Friday with Dr Garcia. She had a piece of metal imbedded around her back teeth. She had a 2 inch gash in her tongue from the object rubbing on her tongue! Dr Garcia removed the piece and we were able to bring her home. She said as Lucy was waking up she gave Dr Garcia a small tail wag! So many helpful and sweet people not only taking care of Lucy but us also! Highly recommend their services if they are needed.”

“End up in the ER with our cat last night. We saw Dr. Robyn. Dr. Robyn took her time and carefully listened to us. She took time looking at our Mavis. She helped us get care on our budget, which was so needed. We just got this cat a week ago and unfortunately, she ended up very sick due to her spay getting infected and then developing a upper respiratory infection at the pet store. I called many clinics in town for information so I could make an informed decision and the choice to go to Allied became crystal clear. Through this difficult process It was overtly evident as to the professionalism and quite frankly the very high level of empathic intelligence exercised by the nurse at the front desk and the doctor who guided us through this process. All of the many little personal details about this process were noticed and accommodated by this exceedingly compassionate staff, even down to the perfect amount of time before a much appreciated follow up correspondence. “Our Cat is newly diagnosed with Diabetes and we are trying to figure out the insulin dose! We had to bring our Cat here overnight last night because his glucose levels were dangerously low and nothing we did was getting it back up!
Our first interaction with this place was over the phone trying to see what they suggested to try and get his glucose levels back up! The person on the phone was VERY nice and listened to everything I was saying and was very helpful in giving us suggestions on what to do and if/when to bring our Cat in!
We ended up having to bring our Cat in, so the next interaction with this place was once we got there! They IMMEDIATELY brought our Cat back to check his vitals while we filled out paperwork. Once we were brought to a room, Dr. Jonathan Isla went ABOVE AND BEYOND to answer the MANY questions my Husband and I had regarding the entire situation – even giving us information that our regular Vet didn’t tell us!!!
We ended up having our Cat spend the night (8 hours) and we got a call early in the morning with a VERY DETAILED description of how our Cat did overnight and that we could come pick him up! They even sent over a copy of his chart to our regular Vet so they were filled in on everything so we didn’t have to remember every detail when we have a follow-up appointment with our normal Vet.
The ENTIRE process from start to finish was very professional and was a good experience despite the stressful situation! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Allied Emergency Vet! They took such great care of my dog. They were incredibly careful and thorough with his care and I felt very at ease through the entire visit. Fairly affordable for an emergency vet visit, too. They are also incredibly transparent about the cost. I was told how much the visit was going to be and what the test would cost before I even arrived at the clinic. Once we had a better idea of his care, they provided me a very detailed estimate. He came home with a big smile on his face and is back to normal today! Thank you all SO much!”
