Bella’s Second Chance: From Rescue to Recovery
Bella, a six-year-old golden retriever, arrived at our emergency room in the middle of the night after swallowing something she definitely shouldn’t have. Her family was scared; Bella, somehow, was still wagging.
Our overnight team moved fast — imaging, surgery and three days of very dedicated snuggling in recovery. By week three, Bella was back to her favorite hobby: supervising the squirrels from the porch.
