Dr. Amanda Gullickson is an emergency veterinarian serving patients in our Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park, and Eden Prairie hospitals. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 2025 after completing her undergraduate studies in Animal Science at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.
From a young age, Dr. Gullickson knew she wanted to work with animals. Her passion grew through volunteering at a humane society, paired with a love of science, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She especially enjoys the challenge of problem-solving in emergency situations and finds it deeply rewarding to see critically ill pets make remarkable recoveries.
When she’s not at the hospital, Dr. Gullickson loves spending time outdoors kayaking, camping, and skiing. At home, she shares her life with two dogs, Kona and Timber, as well as her horse, Pogo, whom she hopes to train for jumping.
