Dr. Richter earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at MSPCA-Angell in Boston before pursuing advanced training through a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Richter’s professional interests include the management of trauma patients and coagulopathies, and she is passionate about providing the highest level of care to critically ill and injured pets.
Originally from Wisconsin (and a proud diehard Packers fan), Dr. Richter has enjoyed making the Twin Cities her home. Outside of the hospital, she loves reading, playing games of all kinds—board, video, or card—and spending time with her two cats, Twitch and Callie.
