DeAnna earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2014. Now serving as Practice Manager at Allied’s Eau Claire hospital, her professional interests include emergency medicine, surgery, critical care, and team development.
DeAnna has known since childhood that she wanted to work with animals, and she is especially drawn to the science and problem-solving involved in emergency medicine. She loves understanding the “why” behind each case and using her skills to help stabilize critically ill patients. Just as important to her is passing that knowledge along, helping others strengthen their skills and grow within the veterinary field.
Allied’s independent ownership, continued growth, and commitment to developing its team are what first attracted DeAnna to the organization. She strives to be a dependable resource for both clients and colleagues and will always work to find the right answer or connect someone with the help they need. Outside of work, DeAnna enjoys spending time with her daughters, Iva and Elly, and their family’s four cats, Twinkles, Aye-Aye, Judo, and Tom, and dog, Pebbles. Their favorite activities include singing, dance parties, gardening, bonfires, hunting, boating, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
