Dr. Zoe Morris knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian, inspired in part by following in her grandfather’s footsteps. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University in 2014 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2020.
As an emergency veterinarian, Dr. Morris enjoys the opportunity to help patients through unexpected illnesses and injuries while working closely with the people who love them. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, feline medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She is especially passionate about continuing to learn, expanding her skills, and finding new and better ways to care for her patients.
Dr. Morris was drawn to Allied after hearing from friends about the care provided to both patients and team members. After meeting with Dr. Kara Nelsen and seeing her approach to leadership and supporting the veterinary team, she knew Allied was an organization she wanted to be part of. In her work, Dr. Morris values a team approach to patient care and clear communication with clients and colleagues.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Morris enjoys traveling, horseback riding, kayaking, board games and puzzles, and spending time with friends and family.
