Dr. Haley Fulco is an Emergency Veterinarian dedicated to providing compassionate care when pets and their families need it most. Originally from the Metro Detroit area, she earned her undergraduate degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University before graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024.
Her passion for veterinary medicine began early. She started working as a veterinary technician assistant in 2012 and has never looked back. Growing up, she cared for a wide variety of animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, koi fish, and hermit crabs, which helped shape her lifelong commitment to animal care.
Dr. Fulco’s clinical interests include ophthalmic emergencies, managing toxicities, and feline medicine, particularly caring for blocked cats. She thrives in the fast-paced environment of emergency medicine and values the teamwork involved in providing lifesaving care.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Fulco enjoys DIY projects and is always learning new skills as her home’s resident “Miss Fix-It.” She also enjoys spending time with friends, watching terrible reality TV, and relaxing with her fiancé and five pets: Ted, a Golden Retriever; Bear, a black Lab; Ellison, a one-eyed cat; Ollie, a big gray cat; and Joe Dirt Mayor of Browntown, a brown cat with a name as unique as his personality.
