Welcome

Welcome to our community

At Allied Veterinary Care, looking after pets goes past exam rooms and treatment plans. It means taking an active part in the community we call home.

Every day we meet remarkable pets and the people who love them. Local events, community partnerships, educational outreach, and celebrations all give us a way to strengthen those relationships and build good memories for families and their four-legged companions.

This page is where we keep those stories. You will find event recaps, pet spotlights, behind the scenes moments, learning activities, and community programs that show what matters to us.

We are glad to be part of a community that loves animals as much as we do.

Maple Grove Days 2026

Meet our first ever K9 King and Queen

One of the highlights of this year's Maple Grove Days was the first K9 King and Queen competition. Families, friends, and pet lovers from across the community came out to celebrate some very good dogs.

The competition gave everyone a reason to talk about their pets, the bond they share with their families, and the joy they bring to an ordinary day. Neighbors rallied behind their favorite contestants, traded stories, and asked friends to vote.

We were honored to celebrate the winners along with everyone who took part.

The votes are in and the crowns have been awarded. Thank you to everyone who entered, voted, and cheered.

K9 King

Meet King Bob

A gentle king with a big heart

Bob wears a crown now, but he had already won over everyone around him long before he became the first Maple Grove Days K9 King.

As a senior rescue dog, Bob is proof that age adds to a lifetime of love and know-how. His blue top-knot, easy manner, and calm presence have made him a familiar face around town.

He spends most of his time doing what he likes best. He greets people with a wagging tail, offers comfort to anyone who needs it, and gets a smile out of nearly everyone he passes. He visits senior centers regularly, where his quiet company means a lot to residents. Sometimes the kindest thing anyone can do is show up.

Bob is not all business. He is known for his colorful hairstyles, his opinions about pizza, and his ability to nap just about anywhere. His family says his goal never changes: make people happy.

K9 Queen

Meet Queen Juliet

The queen of belly rubs and treats

Some dogs seem born to make people smile. Juliet is one of them.

This energetic rescue pup won over judges and neighbors with her playful streak, her curiosity, and her very obvious interest in snacks.

Adopted in 2020, Juliet has grown into an adventurous companion. She loves long walks, follows every scent she can find, greets new people on sight, and accepts belly rubs from anyone willing to offer one.

Her family jokes that she is always on the hunt for food, peanut butter above all. If there is a snack in the room, Juliet knows exactly where it is. Posing for photos, running through her tricks, or making people laugh with her expressions, she is a good reminder of the joy pets bring into daily life.

Behind the story

Celebrating Our K9 King & Queen

The excitement reached its peak as we crowned our K9 King and K9 Queen and celebrated the incredible support they received from the community.

From the award presentation to the proud smiles of the winning families, every moment reflected the joy, love, and connection people have with their pets. The celebration was more than recognizing winners, it was about bringing our community together.

These special moments remind us why we love hosting events like K9 King & Queen: they create lasting memories while celebrating the unique bond between pets and the people who love them.

Congratulations to our 2025 K9 King & Queen! Thank you to everyone who voted, participated, and made this event so memorable.
